Mick Blakeley
Head of Operational Development
I have worked with Citizens Advice Liverpool for twenty years, starting as a volunteer in 2001. I have worked my way up through the service having been a Welfare Rights Caseworker, Energy and Debt Advisor, Advice Session Supervisor, and now as Service Delivery Manager. My responsibilities include managing the general advice and welfare rights services, and being the organisational lead on ensuring the high quality of our advice, as well as being the lead on our research and campaigns activity. The main reason why I love my job and the service is because we help people every day with a wide range of issues that affect our communities. I also love the fact that, as an organisation, we not only help the individual but can highlight and campaign on these issues to local and national policy and decision makers.
